Call for Authors/Reviewers for Advanced Ventilator Life Support, 1E
MVTI is seeking qualified contributors to serve as content writers and reviewers of the first edition of MVTI’s Advanced Ventilator Life Support.
Contributors are responsible for writing, reviewing, and updating content and references to ensure accuracy, currency, and compliance with national accreditation standards.
Qualifications
Current membership in ASTNA
Active involvement in critical care transport nursing
Publications or educational content development experience
Knowledge of CAMTS accreditation requirements
Familiarity with upcoming revised CAMTS standards (currently in its fourth draft and available online for review)
Commitment to active participation in the project from start to finish
Principal Responsibilities
Review current content and references against new revised CAMTS standards, and within the general framework of ASTNA’s Core Curriculum
Identify content areas in need of revision and make revisions as needed and/or as guided by reviewer comments
Adhere to project schedules and deadlines and communicate any delays as soon as possible to the Project Manager
Communicate any needs, questions, or concerns to Editors and/or Project Manager; the expectation for contributors is that emails or other messages be responded to in a timely manner
